Monthly coin give-away requires leaving a comment on any post on this blog during that month. All coins are metal detector finds and will be from 50 to over 2000 years old (Includes ancient dug coins from Europe and Middle East). The 15th is the drawing date and coin is shipped upon receipt of shipping address.

2. Robert Garner won a 104-103 BC AE Prutah (Hebrew Biblical Coin) - January 2008
3. Suzanne Brubaker won a 1907 Indian cent in Fine Condition - February 2008
4. Mike D’Auria won an ancient Roman Bronze Coin. The coin is attributed to Constantius II entitled the “Fallen Horseman” minted in 351-361 AD. - March 2008
5. Skylar Joyner won a Christ Cupped Coin from the Byzatine Roman Empire dated from the third to 6th centuries. This is one of three of my detector dug coins of that type. See the post and picture of the coin type won. - April 2008
6. Awaiting contact from France - 1926 S SL Quarter - May 2008
7. Charles Lavelle is the winner of the Canadian five cent silver piece dated 1920. See post and picture of this two year issue coin - June 2008
8. July’s Coin Drawing winner is Dan Stevenson. Dan won the 1918 Bank Token from Tarpon Springs which has a R6 rarity level.
9. Andy Moore is the winner of August’s drawing for a 1914 Barber Dime. Andy is our first local area winner.
10. Matt Sanders of Texas won September’s 1812 Large Cent drawing. This is the oldest full date Large Cent that I have dug. Congratulations Matt!
11. Don Crandell won October’s coin a 1912 D V Nickel in VG condition. This is only one of two mint marked coins in the series. Congatulations Don!

The coin sounds like an unbelievable find that I would probably never had the opportunity to see much less own if not for your generosity and sharing nature with yor blog fans.
