Beginning with this month a different coin type or unusual coin or token will be featured on a post. That coin or token will be the valuable coin in the next month’s promotional give-away. The first coin will be the US Standing Liberty Quarter. The item pictured will be the coin given. Having dug up coins from more than thirty countries (Florida coin- shooter advantage), I will try to give a variety of great dug coins away and provide a little background about that coin’s production. So far this year coins from US, Rome (Byzatine Cup Coin) and Israel (Prutah of 76 - 103 BC) have been give-aways. Each coin will be a metal detector dug item from my collection of over 151, 000 coins retrieved from the soil or water beginning with Christmas Day of 1969. Remember that leaving a comment on any post will qualify you for the drawing held on the 15th. You can win more than once as leaving a comment on a different post each month qualifies you for that month’s promo. Keep checking this week as the Standing Quarter will be posted.
