Good Time To Buy Metal Detectors

Published by Larry on Tagged Instuctional, Metal Detecting Tips

Throughout the northern hemisphere time is winding down for most water hunters and soon will be for a majority of the land hunters as colder weather sets in. Ebay has over 2,000 detectors and or accessories listed this past two weeks. Many metal detector dealers will be offering specials soon and yes, the manufacturers are offering their Christmas and holiday specials too.

If you are a newbie to the hobby or are thinking of giving the hobby a try, I recommend buying a quality lower-end price detector like the Garrett Ace 150 & 250 or the Fisher F2. Tesoro Silver Sabre or Fisher 1210 & 1212 X are excellent start-up units that are silent search simple to learn and deliver a lot of detector power for the money. Look for the bargains on ebay or contact a good full service dealer who can assist you in getting started.

Living in Florida the late Fall, Winter and Spring seasons are the best. Once the summer humidity hits land hunting is not much fun. I personally prefer Winter and Spring for water hunting. Cooler weather means more items are lost and many winter visitors and Spring Breakers keep our beaches like gold mines. I will be offering some great Christmas/Holiday coin jewelry offerings on the coin bargain center. These sterling silver coin pendants with Sterling silver chains will make great gifts for friends and family.
